What? You thought I was kidding?

1 cup margarine or butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
½ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt
3 cups oats, old fashioned
1 cup raisins

Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Stir in oats and raisin.

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350°F or until golden brown.

Cool one minute on cookie sheet then remove to wire rack.

Makes about 2-3 dozen.
